About Me

I am wife to my wonderful husband, mother to two adult children and Nana to one special granddaughter. I also share my heart and my home with several furbabies. Being creative doesn't come easily to me, but I love to try.

~ All Dolled Up

So I had this pretty paper in my drawer that I've been wanting to use for awhile.  Some of it I had purchased and some I won in a blog hop.  So in order to use this pretty paper, I first had to find the right photo to go with it.  I love this picture of my granddaughter getting ready for her visit with Santa.  Each year this involves a trip to the mall to purchase the dress and a stop at the Bon Ton cosmetic counter to get "All Dolled Up" before pics with Santa.  The background of this pic was very busy, so I changed it to black & white and this also makes my granddaughter really stand out.  I think this is one of my FAVORITE layouts.  Just LOVE this paper!

I crocheted the flower in the upper left myself with a variegated green yarn.  The flower in the bottom right was a stamp on patterned paper and fussy cut, topped with a brad. There is also some stitching and inking which is hard to see in the light I have.

The papers are all MME.  The title was cut at 1" using Paper Lace and then outlined in pen. Thanks for stopping by!
