These pics were all about the pumpkins. This one was plastic and lit up and was adorned with a glittery hat that Tacoah and I made. But of course, she did carve one too. The title was cut with Hello Kitty Font at 1" and 1.25".

~Halloween Layout - Hey No Zombies!
Ok, so we managed to avoid the zombies this year, but it was a close call. I just brought home a boo-tiful princess gown and all thoughts of blood and guts vanished! I used
the Recollections Haunted Manor stack, lots of stitching and some burlap. The
title was cut from Storybook at 2.5". Thanks for stopping by!

~Welcome Wreath
Provocraft gave us a free Cricut Craft Room project this week for Welcoming students back to school. While I am not a teacher, I did download this project and modify it for our Vacation Bible School students. I removed the "to School" phrase from the original project and added "to VBS" using Hello Kitty font as 1.25". I'm sure the VBS teachers will enjoy this. This is the first wreath that I have made and I had no idea how much material it takes to wrap those foam forms! Egads! It was a fun project though, especially inking all those leaves (and there are bunches!). Thanks for stopping by!

* snow day *
Last Wednesday, we received the only significant snow fall of the season. It's hard to say how much since it was very heavy and wet, but I'm guessing around 10 inches. Being March, I knew it wouldn't last long, so I pushed my daughter and husband out the door with my granddaughter and told them to "GO SLEDDING". Safely perched above on the deck with camera in hand, I got some really good pics of the 30 or so runs down the hill on saucer. Unknown to me, it had been "pre-greased". LOL. This was a tough layout for me because I normally don't do the bright colors, but Tacoah's winter clothes and her saucer screamed "NEON", so, it is what it is. I comprised by using a solid burgurdy background over hot pink. The strips of patterned cardstock framing the photo also provide a pop of color. I used the Hello Kitty font at 3/4" for the negative OOPS in the photo frame. A few splatters of white paint on the background help to provide that "snowy" feel. Overall, I am pleased with how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by!
