~Man cards are tough!

My husband's dear old country doctor is retiring.  He's almost 85 and has worked part time for years, but I really don't think he wanted to retire.  He even still did hospital rounds.

Anyway, hubby wanted to give his Dr. a handmade Thank You card for all those wonderful years he was under his care.  It's simple, but effective I think.  I always have a tough time with "Man Cards".  The EKG is from Dr. Checkup cut at 2".  The Thank You phrase is from Cindy Loo at 1".  Thanks for stopping by!

~ Cola Glass Hickey! ~

This little incident occured about a week before school started.  I'm guessing my granddaughter was bored or something, but it took us awhile to figure out why her mouth was PURPLE!  She has this little cola glass that she put to her mouth and must have sucked as hard as she could.  I don't know how long she did it (til it hurt???) but it left some nasty bruising.  I made her hold still for pictures and told her it's a good thing that Kindergarden didn't start for another week.  Kids ~ geesh!  Thanks for stopping by!
