MFT Sketch Challenge #339

Hi Friends!   I know, it's been a really long time since I've posted here.  Life is like that sometimes.  I don't think I will even try to catch up.  lol

I finally had some time to play along with a challenge and so here's my take on the
MFT Sketch Challenge #339.  The sketch below provides the framework for the card I made.
Since I didn't have a square scalloped die, I cut the background layer from watercolor paper using my Cricut and one of the CTMH cartridges.  I used Distress Ink Salty Ocean on this layer.  The frame was cut using the MFT Square Inside/Out Dies.  I just love this MFT Playful Pups set and thought they were a good pick for this card.  I had some dog bone paper clips left over from another project and added it for a nice finishing touch.  Hope you like it!

Last month's coloring challenge left me with lots of raw materials for some happy cards.  And when I saw this week's sketch (#239) over on the MFT (My Favorite Things) blog, I knew I had to transform one using some of my awesome die-namics dies!

Here's the sketch:

 And here's my card.  This is a House Mouse Designs stamp that is just perfect for a summer card.  Isn't he just adorable? hehe.  And I wish I were laying right there beside him.  I used my cross stitch die-namic circle die and then added a little sunshine.  This sketch is just so versatile I will be saving it for some future cards as well.  So glad I got a chance to play along.  Thanks for stopping by!
